2018 – New Website Launched
Irvine’s Building showcases its properties through its new online website. Offering a greater insight into our company and our history.
2007 – First Website Launched
2002 – Sacha joins a growing team.
Sacha joined Irvine’s Building Pty Ltd on a part time basis. The company went from being run from the back of a van to a real office.
1989 – Making his Mark.
Mark opened Irvine’s Building Pty Ltd and got his first big job – a first floor addition in Dover Road, Rose Bay.
Once the neighbors saw his work he got one job after the other in the same street. Word of mouth spread and Irvine’s Building Pty Ltd became a sought after builder.
Still in 2018 our happy clients spread our name around and that is how we have gotten building jobs ever since 89.
1985 – 1987 – The Journey Begins.
1985 – Mark began doing building work in the Eastern suburbs as a sole trader
1987 – Peter Irvine (Marks brother) joined Mark and studied carpentry.
1976 – 1985: Industry Work.
1976 – 1980 – Mark worked at Light Makers – he designed lighting and managed production
1979 – 1981 – Mark did a building course at night as he had bought a house in Bondi Junction that desperately needed renovating. Mark loved building so he decided to pursue a career as a builder.
1981 – 1983 – Mark worked on building sites with DJ Mcarthy Building learning carpentry skills and was moved up to site foreman after approx 2 months.
1983 – 1985 – Mark worked as a site foreman for Jeff Pearsons.
1970 – 1976: Training, Skills & Work Experience.
1972 – 1974 – Mark Irvine completed and industrial design course at TAFE
1975 – 1976 – Mark Irvine completed a graphic design course at TAFE
1976 – 1980 – Mark worked at Light Makers – he designed lighting and managed production
